2000年,聖若望保祿二世教宗冊封聖傅天娜修女為聖人,並將「慈悲主日」加入到教會的正式禮儀年曆當中。
聖傅天娜於1938年去世,是波蘭克拉科夫仁慈聖母修女會的修女。她出身於一個簡樸貧窮的農民家庭,只接受過三年基礎教育,在修院中從事最卑微的工作。然而,她同時也是一位神秘靈修者,蒙受主耶穌多次私人啟示的恩寵。她服從長上與神師的指示,將這些私人啟示記錄在六本筆記中。這些筆記後來以《聖傅天娜修女日記》為名出版。她日記中的訊息,為我們這個時代帶來了來自天主深刻的啟示與呼喚。 今日我們很多有關救主慈悲的敬禮,都來自主耶穌給聖傅天娜的特別啟示。比如印有「耶穌,我信賴你」的慈悲聖像(聖傅天娜修女日記47和299號),我們熟悉的慈悲串經(日記687),下午三時的慈悲時刻(日記1320、1572),當然還有我們今天慶祝的慈悲主日(日記47、699)等。 在1930年代,主耶穌曾十四次向聖傅天娜修女顯現,要求在復活節後的主日慶祝一個特別的節日。然而,天主慈悲主日並不只是建立在聖傅天娜的啟示之上。事實上,這個慶日並非關於聖傅天娜修女,從某種意義上說,也不是一個完全嶄新的節日。復活節後的第二主日原本就是復活八日慶期的隆重日子。傳統上,在復活前夕領受洗禮時穿上白衣的新教友,在今天彌撒後才脫下白衣,象徵著由聖神帶領進入了實際的生活中。因此,今天也被稱作「卸白衣主日」。而復活八日慶期也以天主的慈悲與寬恕為核心主題。救主慈悲主日引導我們注視整個逾越奧蹟背後天主慈悲的愛——也就是基督的受難、死亡與復活的全部奧蹟,並在聖體聖事中臨於我們中間。這麼看,這一天也總結了整個復活八日慶期。正如聖若望保祿二世教宗在1995年慈悲主日的《三鐘經》講話中所說:「整個復活八日慶期如同一個單一的日子」,而這個主日就是「為天主在整個復活奧蹟中向人所顯示的仁慈而感恩的日子」。所以,「慈悲主日」這個名稱,更突顯了這一天的深層意義。 當我們慶祝慈悲主日時,讓我們默想救主慈悲對今日教會與世界的深遠意義。如今,我們比以往任何時候都更需要天主豐沛的慈悲傾注於我們身上。唯有在天上,我們才會完全明白天主慈悲的深度。此刻,我們需要信賴祂透過祂謙卑僕人聖傅天娜所啟示的一切,並回應祂藉著她向我們提出的呼籲。讓我們致力於天主邀請我們呼求祂慈悲的各種方式,以最大的熱忱與虔敬,向祂敞開我們的心。願慈悲主日成為所有慶祝這一天的人更新生命、獲得靈性滋養的泉源。

耶穌復活後,每次顯現給宗徒们時,都向他們說:「願你們平安!」並向他們展示自己在十字架上留下的傷痕。在復活的顯現中,這兩個行動幾乎總是同時出現,彼此緊密相連。當耶穌展現祂的傷口時,祂所做的並不只是為了證明自己的身分。誠然,門徒因此認出祂就是那位被釘十字架的耶穌;但更深一層,祂是在啟示愛的延續。復活並不是把受難抹去,好像一切從頭開始。傷痕依然存在,因為愛仍然存在。這些傷痕是那份走到最後、從未退縮之愛的可見記號。藉著展現傷痕,耶穌告诉我们:這就是我,一位愛你們直到死亡,並且超越死亡的主。這些傷痕不是失敗的印記,而是勝利的標誌,是愛的榮冠。
更值得使我们感动的是,耶穌也是在門徒的創傷中與他們相遇。這些門徒曾經逃跑,曾經否認祂,仍被恐懼所困。按人的期待,他們或許應該受到責備,但耶穌卻向他們展示被刺透的雙手與敞開的肋旁。祂告訴他們:你們的軟弱並沒有摧毀我的愛;我已經承擔了一切,也寬恕了你們。讓我們重新開始,繼續前行。復活的主並沒有翻舊帳,而是用祂的傷痕醫治門徒內心的傷口。 耶穌的「願你們平安!」這句話不是普通的問候,而是復活主所賜下的恩典與和好。祂不只說了一次,而是反覆地說。那些曾經逃跑的門徒,沒有受到責備,反而被賜予平安。傷痕與平安彼此相連:傷痕顯示愛所付出的代價,平安則是這份愛結出的果實。這也正是我们今天庆祝慈悲主日的意義:無論我們多麼軟弱與不堪,只要我們願意與復活的主相遇,祂的慈悲就會寬恕我們,並賜下真正的平安。 對許多人而言,為自己的信仰站出來並不容易;對經歷過痛苦與黑暗的人來說,相信世界可以變得更好,也同樣困難。然而,當我們與復活的主相遇時,一切都變得可能。祂帶著傷痕,卻是光榮的主;祂經歷死亡,卻帶來生命。祂的創傷不再只是痛苦的記號,而成為治癒的泉源。正如依撒意亚先知所說的:「因祂受了創傷,我們便得了痊愈。」(依53:5) 今天,復活的主仍在聖體聖事中,對我們說:「願你們平安!」祂不僅安慰我們,更派遣我們走出去,把這份慈悲與喜樂帶給他人。當我們帶著自己的傷痕,卻懷著祂所賜的平安前行時,我們便成為復活的見證人,向世界宣告:愛勝過死亡,慈悲戰勝罪惡,復活的主仍然與我們同行。 "URBI ET ORBI" MESSAGE OF HIS HOLINESS POPE LEO XIV EASTER 2026 Central Loggia of St Peter's Basilica Sunday, 5 April 2026 [Multimedia] Brothers and sisters,
Christ is risen! Happy Easter! For centuries, the Church has joyfully sung of the event that is the origin and foundation of her faith: “Yes, Christ my hope is arisen / Christ indeed from death is risen / Have mercy, victor King, ever reigning” (Easter Sequence). Easter is the victory of life over death, of light over darkness, of love over hatred. It is a victory that came at a very high price: Christ, the Son of the living God (cf. Mt 16:16), had to die — and die on a cross — after suffering an unjust condemnation, being mocked and tortured, and shedding all his blood. As the true immolated Lamb, he took upon himself the sin of the world (cf. Jn 1:29; 1 Pet 1:18–19) and thus freed us all — and with us, all creation — from the dominion of evil. But how was Jesus able to be victorious? What is the strength with which he defeated once and for all the ancient adversary, the prince of this world (cf. Jn 12:31)? What is the power with which he rose from the dead, not returning to his former life, but entering into eternal life and thus opening in his own flesh the passage from this world to the Father? This strength, this power, is God himself for he is Love who creates and generates, Love who is faithful to the end and Love who forgives and redeems. Christ, our “victorious King,” fought and won his battle through trusting abandonment to the Father’s will, to his plan of salvation (cf. Mt 26:42). Thus he walked the path of dialogue to the very end, not in words but in deeds: to find us who were lost, he became flesh; to free us who were slaves, he became a slave; to give life to us mortals, he allowed himself to be killed on the cross. The power with which Christ rose is entirely nonviolent. It is like that of a grain of wheat which, having rotted in the earth, grows, breaks through the clods, sprouts, and becomes a golden ear of wheat. It is even more like that of a human heart which, wounded by an offense, rejects the instinct for revenge and, filled with compassion, prays for the one who has committed the offense. Brothers and sisters, this is the true strength that brings peace to humanity, because it fosters respectful relationships at every level: among individuals, families, social groups, and nations. It does not seek private interests, but the common good; it does not seek to impose its own plan, but to help design and carry out a plan together with others. Yes, Christ’s resurrection is the beginning of a new humanity; it is the entrance into the true promised land, where justice, freedom, and peace reign, where all recognize one another as brothers and sisters, children of the same Father who is Love, Life, and Light. Brothers and sisters, through his resurrection, the Lord confronts us even more powerfully with the dramatic reality of our freedom. Before the empty tomb, we can be filled with hope and wonder, like the disciples, or with fear like the guards and the Pharisees, forced to resort to lies and subterfuge rather than acknowledge that the one who had been condemned is truly risen (cf. Mt 28:11–15)! In the light of Easter, let us allow ourselves to be amazed by Christ! Let us allow our hearts to be transformed by his immense love for us! Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them! We are growing accustomed to violence, resigning ourselves to it, and becoming indifferent. Indifferent to the deaths of thousands of people. Indifferent to the repercussions of hatred and division that conflicts sow. Indifferent to the economic and social consequences they produce, which we all feel. There is an ever-increasing “globalization of indifference,” to borrow an expression dear to Pope Francis, who one year ago from this loggia addressed his final words to the world, reminding us: “What a great thirst for death, for killing, we witness each day in the many conflicts raging in different parts of the world!” (Urbi et Orbi Message, 20 April 2025). The cross of Christ always reminds us of the suffering and pain that surround death and the agony it entails. We are all afraid of death, and out of fear we turn away, preferring not to look. We cannot continue to be indifferent! And we cannot resign ourselves to evil! Saint Augustine teaches: “If you fear death, love the resurrection!” (Sermon 124, 4). Let us too love the resurrection, which reminds us that evil is not the last word, because it has been defeated by the Risen One. He passed through death to give us life and peace: “I leave you peace; I give you my peace. Not as the world gives it, I give it to you” (Jn 14:27). The peace that Jesus gives us is not merely the silence of weapons, but the peace that touches and transforms the heart of each one of us! Let us allow ourselves to be transformed by the peace of Christ! Let us make heard the cry for peace that springs from our hearts! For this reason, I invite everyone to join me in a prayer vigil for peace that we will celebrate here in Saint Peter’s Basilica next Saturday, April 11. On this day of celebration, let us abandon every desire for conflict, domination, and power, and implore the Lord to grant his peace to a world ravaged by wars and marked by a hatred and indifference that make us feel powerless in the face of evil. To the Lord we entrust all hearts that suffer and await the true peace that only he can give. Let us entrust ourselves to him and open our hearts to him! He is the only one who makes all things new (cf. Rev 21:5). Happy Easter! 在這光榮的復活主日,教會滿懷喜樂地宣告:「耶穌復活了!」但這句話,對我們究竟意味著什麼呢?
在剛才的福音中,我們看到瑪利亞瑪達肋納、伯多祿和若望來到墳墓前,發現墓穴是空的。起初,他們並不完全明白,心中仍被憂傷與困惑所籠罩。相信耶穌死了,其實並不困難,幾乎所有人都相信。但真正困難的是相信祂已經復活了。 然而,復活節的信息就是:「祂不在這裡,祂已經復活了。」這最初的宣告,徹底改變了一切。空墳不是失落的記號,而是勝利的標誌。門徒們當時仍然充滿恐懼,把自己關在屋內,不知道未來會如何。然而,就在這樣的恐懼與疑惑之中,教會依然不斷宣告:「基督復活了!」當然,這不是教會自作主張的宣告,而是天使的報告。 但在我們的現實生活中,痛苦與苦難常常讓我們產生疑問:如果基督真的復活了,為什麼苦難與不公仍然存在?為什麼我們仍然看到戰爭、壓迫、疾病與各種悲劇?在這些痛苦之中,主在哪裡?我們也許不一定得到明確的答案,但我們被賜予了信德。這信德使我們確信:復活的基督就在我們當中,祂能把痛苦轉化為救贖,把絕望轉化為希望。 相信祂的死亡並不困難;相信祂的復活,才是真正的考驗。可是一旦相信了祂的復活,我們的生命就會發生改變。那些曾經因恐懼而逃跑的門徒,在與復活的主相遇之後,徹底改變了,成為勇敢的見證人。他們內心發生了真實而深刻的轉變,使他們即使面對死亡,也能宣講基督的勝利。 復活的清晨向婦女顯現的天使對她們說:「你們為什麼在死人中找活人呢?」(路24:5)很多的時候,我們放不下很多令自己痛苦、害怕的東西,深陷在過去不能自拔,就像當時的婦女和宗徒們深陷失去耶穌的痛苦中一樣。今天,讓我們把這個真理深深存留在心中:「基督復活了!」在一切困難與挑戰面前,讓我們緊緊抓住這份希望。也讓我們如同最初的門徒一樣,走出去,以生命宣告:「祂真的復活了!」 今天的禮儀邀請我們默想耶穌所經歷的兩段截然不同的旅程。第一段,是祂在群眾「賀三納」的歡呼聲中,光榮地進入耶路撒冷;第二段,則是祂離開這座城市,走向加爾瓦略山,踏上十字架的苦路。從歡迎與凱旋,到被拒絕與失敗,我們彷彿經歷了一個情感上的巨大轉變。然而,信仰提醒我們:這兩段旅程,其實都是勝利的旅程。因為十字架的道路與基督的苦難,正是祂最終戰勝罪惡與死亡、進入復活光榮的前奏。
瑪竇所記載的苦難史特別強調,整個聖週所發生的一切,都是為了應驗聖經的預言。因此他不斷提醒我們:「這一切都發生了,是為應驗先知所記載的。」(瑪26:56)天主並沒有以奇蹟的方式拯救耶穌,免於被出賣、受苦和被釘十字架;祂也沒有讓自己的聖子逃避折磨與死亡。在今天的答唱詠中也提到,雖然看上去天主好像捨棄了祂,所有人也都譏笑祂、侮辱祂(詠22:2,7-8,17-19)。可是,就如第一和第二篇讀經所載,祂願意空虛、貶抑自己,願意聽命至死,像奴僕一樣被釘死在十字架上。(依50:6;斐2:6-8)由此,我們看到天主不是以外在的奇蹟來消滅邪惡。可是,這樣的天主邏輯,有時對我們而言既難以理解,更難以接受。 在福音中,瑪竇特別強調拒絕一切形式暴力,即使是出於自我防衛。因為只有他記錄了耶穌對伯多祿說的話:「凡持劍的,必要死在劍下。」(瑪26:52)在面對威脅與攻擊時,以暴制暴或許是人最自然、也是最強烈的誘惑。然而,耶穌卻以另一種方式回應——在最後晚餐中洗門徒的腳,當然也包括猶達斯的腳;建立聖體聖事,祂以謙卑與自我奉獻,顯示出真正戰勝邪惡的道路。祂不但拒絕暴力,更邀請我們以謙卑的心去面對甚至接納那些傷害我們、背叛我們的人。 瑪竇福音也獨有地記載了猶達斯的結局。這位門徒就像那些曾經跟隨耶穌的人,但當他們發現耶穌並沒有滿足他們對權力與榮耀的期待時,便離棄祂,甚至反對祂。然而,離開耶穌的並不只有猶達斯,其他門徒同樣也曾軟弱跌倒。不同的是,他們仍然對耶穌的愛和寬恕懷有希望。所以,他們又回到了耶穌那裡。 此外,瑪竇还提到,在耶穌的墳墓旁有守衛把守(瑪27:65-66)。這象徵著邪惡似乎暫時得勝。在我們的生命中,也常有這樣的經驗:邪惡似乎佔了上風,黑暗似乎壓倒光明。然而,天主總會以出人意料的方式介入。邪惡和黑暗,甚至死亡並不是最後的終結,因為祂的天使會滾開一切阻擋生命的石頭。 因此,聖枝主日不只是紀念一段歷史,更邀請我們在信仰中重新理解:看似失敗的十字架,其實蘊藏著真正的勝利;在黑暗之中,天主早已準備好復活的光明。讓我們特別在這一周,將自己所有的痛苦都交給耶穌,懷著希望,藉著祂的復活,將我們的痛苦轉為榮耀。 |
